This series of articles takes place during the winter of 2008/09 when we travel mainland Mexico with 3 other couples. Our touring friends are Bill and Marlyn Mallet, Ben and Lynette Johnson and John and Sherry Polcyn. We have 5 months to tour as much of the mainland as we can.

During the winter of 2006/07 while staying at Playa Norte, our friends Ben and Lynette had their Mexican friends "Tellie and Carlos de Valle" come and visit us for a couple of days.

During their stay we got to know them very well and we had an excellent time together.

Before they left to go back home, Tellie and Carlos invited Ben, Lynette and us to visit them at their home in Guadalajara.

We said "why not", and so this section is about that trip.
